Is Downexa VPN really free?+
Yes. The Free tier gives you 30 minutes per day on our live New York server. Upgrade to any paid plan for unlimited time and first access to new locations as we bring them online.
Are all 115+ locations available today?+
Not yet. New York is live now. The rest of the catalog is on our public roadmap and is marked "Coming soon" until we finish rolling out regional servers. Premium subscribers get first access as each location goes live.
How do I connect?+
Pick a location and tap Connect. We create a private VPN profile and download it automatically. Open the Downexa app and toggle the VPN ON — that is what changes your public IP.
I clicked Connect but my IP is unchanged — why?+
Connect prepares and downloads your VPN profile. A browser page cannot take over your device network by itself. Open the Downexa app (or import the downloaded profile) and toggle the VPN ON — then your IP switches to the selected location.
Does this change my browser tab IP directly?+
Not from the webpage alone. Once the VPN is ON in the Downexa app, every browser tab, downloader, and app on the machine uses the selected VPN location.
Is Downexa VPN available in Pakistan?+
Yes. Downexa is a Pakistan-based service and prices are shown in PKR. Pakistani users can use any of our 115+ global servers to browse or download from geo-restricted platforms.
How fast is Downexa VPN?+
Downexa VPN runs on a modern high-speed protocol, so streaming, downloads, and calls stay responsive with minimal battery drain on mobile.
Do you keep logs of my activity?+
We do not log browsing history, DNS queries, or file downloads. Only the minimum keying material required to authenticate your tunnel is stored, and only while the peer is active.
Can I use it to download YouTube, Instagram or TikTok videos?+
Yes. Once the tunnel is active on your device, any web browser or the Downexa downloader will fetch content through the VPN server’s IP.
What happens if I disconnect?+
Toggle disconnect on this page anytime. Free-tier minutes are only counted while the tunnel is active.
